Common questions
How much does a system cost?
It depends on your water and your home. A drinking water system costs a lot less than a whole-home setup. You get the exact price in writing before any work starts. The scope is fixed on paper, and nothing changes unless you approve it first.
Do I need a water softener?
It depends on the water system serving your address. Most Northshore systems publish soft-water numbers, so a softener usually does not belong in the recommendation. Film left on glass and fixtures there may come from silica or other dissolved solids, which a softener does not remove. New Orleans, Metairie, Kenner, and much of the West Bank publish hard-water numbers, so those recommendations include a softener.
Do you test the water in my home?
Usually we don't need to. Your water system publishes real lab data every year, and we use your neighborhood's actual report. Wells are the exception, since they have no public reports, so for those we collect a sample at your tap and send it to a lab, free. And if you'd just feel better having your own tap tested, ask and we'll do it.

Yes. Wells are common on the Northshore and iron, sulfur smell, and sediment are all fixable. We test your well water first so the system matches what is in it.
